Mark Kerr was born on December 21, 1968, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He began wrestling at an early age and went on to become a three-time NCAA Division I All-American at Oklahoma State University.

MMA Career

After graduating from college, Kerr transitioned to mixed martial arts (MMA) and quickly rose through the ranks. He made his UFC debut in 1997 and won the UFC Heavyweight Championship twice. Kerr also fought for Bellator and other MMA promotions, earning a reputation as one of the most dominant fighters of his era.

Kerr's career record stands at 15-11-0 with 1 No Contest. He is known for his punishing ground and pound and his relentless pursuit of submissions. Kerr retired from MMA in 2009 but remains an influential figure in the sport.
