In a shocking turn of events, Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chairperson and Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal has accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of assaulting her at his official residence. The allegations have caused a major uproar in the political circles and have cast a shadow over the ruling Aam Aadmi Party.

According to Maliwal's statement, she had gone to Kejriwal's residence on Monday evening to discuss some important issues. However, the meeting took an unexpected turn when Kejriwal allegedly assaulted her.

Maliwal later went to the Civil Lines police station to report the incident and file a complaint. The police have confirmed receiving the complaint and have initiated an investigation into the matter.
