Barça Pull Off Stunning Comeback in Epic Encounter

Catalan Giants Edge Closer to Quarterfinals with Hard-Fought Victory

Barcelona produced a remarkable performance to defeat Paris Saint-Germain 3-2 at the Parc des Princes in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Tuesday. Trailing 4-1 from the first leg, the Catalan giants staged a stunning comeback to take control of the tie ahead of the second leg at Camp Nou.

Lionel Messi opened the scoring for Barcelona in the 27th minute, converting a penalty after Marco Verratti was adjudged to have handled the ball inside the area. However, PSG responded well to the setback and equalized through Kylian Mbappé, who fired home an unstoppable volley just five minutes later.

The game remained finely poised until the second half, when Barcelona took the lead for the first time. Ousmane Dembélé fired home a superb strike from outside the area, and Sergio Busquets made it 3-1 just minutes later with a headed finish.

PSG fought back valiantly and Mbappé gave them a lifeline with a stunning solo goal in the 88th minute. However, Barcelona held on for a famous victory that leaves them in pole position to reach the quarterfinals. The second leg will be played at Camp Nou on March 10.
